BENEFITS AND USES:

This medication is used to treat certain bacterial infections of the gut, ear, nose, throat, lungs, skin or bladder. It is also used to treat genital infections or sexually-transmitted diseases such as gonorrhoea. Azithromycin may be used to treat other bacterial infections as decided by your doctor.

DIRECTIONS:

Take this medicine exactly as directed by your doctor or according to the instructions on the label. Do not take more or less than instructed by your doctor. Take this medicine at regular intervals. Do not skip any doses. You must complete the entire course of this medicine. If you don't, the infection will not be properly controlled.

WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE?

This medication may cause the following side effects: - Diarrhoea - Nausea - Stomach discomfort Inform your doctor if any of these side effects do not go away or are severe, or if you experience other side effects.
