BENEFITS AND USES:

Folic acid is used to treat and prevent folic acid deficiency. This vitamin may be used to treat or prevent certain types of anaemia (low red blood cell count). It may also be used in women of childbearing age and pregnant women to prevent neural tube defects (birth defects of the brain, spine or spinal cord) in their offspring. Folic acid may be used to treat other conditions as decided by your doctor.

DIRECTIONS:

Take this vitamin exactly as directed by your doctor or according to the instructions on the label. Do not take more or less than instructed by your doctor. This supplement may be taken with or without food. Try to take it at the same time each day. The dose of this medicine will be decided by your doctor. Your doctor will advise you on the treatment timeframe depending on the type and severity of your condition.
