ABOUT THIS MEDICATION

This medicine helps relieve constant runny nose associated with allergic rhinitis (inflammation of the inside lining of the nose caused by allergens). This medicine also helps relieve eye itching associated with allergic conjunctivitis (redness and inflammation of the membranes covering the white part of the eyes caused by allergens).

HOW SHOULD YOU USE THIS MEDICINE?

Take Ketotifen exactly as directed by your doctor/pharmacist or according to the instructions on the label. Do not take more or less than instructed by your doctor. Take this medicine together with food or immediately after a meal. Shake the bottle well before you take the medicine to ensure that the liquid is evenly mixed. Use the measuring spoon or cup provided to measure your dose. You may stop taking this medicine once you feel better, unless your doctor/pharmacist has instructed you otherwise.

WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE?

This medicine may cause the following side effects: - Drowsiness - Dizziness - Dry mouth - Difficulty sleeping - Irritability - Nervousness. Inform your doctor if any of these side effects do not go away or are severe, or if you experience other side effects.
