BENEFITS AND USES:

This medicine helps treat your asthma by relaxing the airways in your lungs.

DIRECTIONS:

Take this medicine exactly as directed by your doctor or according to the instructions on the label. Do not take more or less than instructed by your doctor or pharmacist. You may refer to the Patient Information Leaflet to see the instructions on how to take this medication. This is a controller inhaler and should be used regularly to be effective. Continue using this medicine even when you feel better. Do not stop using it suddenly as this may worsen your condition

- Steps to use inhaler:

1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap & water
2. Twist to remove cover
3. Twist the base anti-clockwise and then back until you hear a click
4. Breathe out away from the device
5. Seal lips around mouthpiece
6. Breathe in deeply
7. Hold your breath for 10 seconds if you can, to allow the medication to reach into your lungs deeply
8. For a second dose, repeat steps 3-7

WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE?

This medication may cause the following side effects:

• Irregular heartbeats
• Throat irritation
• Mouth infection

Inform your doctor if any of these side effects do not go away or are severe, or if you experience other side effects
