BENEFITS AND USES:

Oseltamivir is an antiviral which inhibits growth and shedding of Influenza A and B viruses. It prevents the influenza virus from spreading inside the body therefore helping to relieve or prevent the symptoms arising from influenza virus infection.

DIRECTIONS:

"Take this medicine exactly as directed by your doctor. Do not take more or less than instructed by your doctor or pharmacist. You may take this medicine together with food to improve tolerance. Complete the course as prescribed by your doctor.

Capsules may be opened and mixed with sweetened liquid (eg, chocolate syrup, corn syrup, caramel topping, light brown sugar dissolved in water)."

WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE?

This medication may cause the following side effects:

• Diarrhoea
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Headache
